Naval Pain

Beneath the tossing turning waves,
Though we’ve left but a hollow grave; 
I tell you all these things I feel,
And wait for you to see the seal.

The seal of love between our lips,
The chase of lies across these fingertips;
Could you possibly walk these paths so long,
To find somewhere we both call home.

Whats left of all these thoughtless memories,
These paths of watery tempest seas;
You cannot love what you do not know
Foreshadowed by both I am left alone. 

A Poem For You

Trace the words like feelings on the back of my hands
Watch them disappear like our love in this cold land
Tell me how much you care 
Though it leads to nothing but despair 
Leave me clutching this cold night
Though my heart is black through light

Take this whole hearted love
And tell me I’ll never be enough
Take all that you’ve ever wanted
And show how much they’ve flaunted
Everything I’ll never be
Heartbroken down on my knees

Listen to the pretty lyrics
Of all these useless cynics
A place where nothing leaves
The hint of you and me
Could you ever close your eyes
And live as through another life

Tell the world about your heart
Hold your hand out chasing stars
Will there ever be more than this
Could you ever love a heart with bliss
Leave me feeling so depthless with despair
This heartbroken, left, and without care.
